For my fourth of July sweets, I first made red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and topped them with pop rocks, to add a little bit of kick! And because I thought they might be like fireworks in your mouth! The second was strawberries, dipped in white chocolate and then dipped in blue sugar, which I purchased at Hobby Lobby. Overall, they were a hit, and very simple to make!

I'm a member of the madrigal choir at my high school, and my choir teacher is getting married in less than a month. And being the loving, conniving girls we are, we planned a bridal shower for her! My job was to do the cupcakes (of course!). So we kicked the boys out, decorated the place out the wazoo, played games and gave gifts! We told first kiss stories and just had a lot of fun with everything!
For these cupcakes, I was lazy and used funfetti and devil's food cake mix with cream cheese frosting (cost: $4.81). They were simple to do, and easy to decorate!
Needless to say, we had a LOT of fun!
